Room Attendant - (Part Time)
Will service guest rooms and guest housekeeping requests and is responsible for providing the OPUS brand level of service. PLEASE NOTE - This is a part time position.
- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Service a set number of rooms during a shift
- Oversee the following tasks upon servicing a room: dusting, bed-making, linen removal, linen retrieval, vacuuming, washroom maintenance/cleaning, window cleaning, replenishment of room supplies
- Update the record of cleaned rooms
- Report necessary maintenance requests to MOD
- Follow all company safety policies
- Abide by all company sanitation policies
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Contribute an energetic and positive attitude to the Hotel atmosphere. Focus will be on attention to detail, and consistently performing at a high level of service in the variety of tasks being performed. Flexibility and teamwork will be important attributes for a successful candidate. Candidate must also be able to stand, walk, kneel, push, and pull throughout shift, in addition to carrying and lifting up to 30lbs,

BELL SERVICE AGENT/VALET
Bell Service Agent
You will be as an ambassador for OPUS Hotel in meeting and greeting all guests. The position will be responsible for the handling of luggage and all other deliveries within the hotel. Will be responsible for the parking and retrieval of guest vehicles and report to the Duty Manager on shift.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will, contributes an energetic and positive attitude to the Hotel atmosphere. Person must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Focus will be on providing a high level of professional and friendly service to each and every guest. Position will require a fair amount of physical work as well as long periods of standing. The position will require a high degree of efficiency and initiative. Candidates will be required to have a solid understanding of Vancouver's attractions, with a focus on Yaletown.
-Valid BC driver’s license mandatory + ability to drive a manual shift (standard) vehicle.
SEASONAL Reservations Agent
The Reservations Agent will be involved in the selling of the hotel and maximizing revenue potential and will report directly to the Reservations Coordinator. In addition, will be involved in the operation of a variety of guest contact positions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Contribute an energetic and positive attitude to the Hotel atmosphere. Person must posses' excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Focus will be on attention to detail, and consistently performing at a high level of service in the variety of tasks being performed. Flexibility and Teamwork will be important attributes for a successful candidate. Strong knowledge and background in the hotel industry is considered a strong asset. OPERA experience along with knowledge in MS Excel and Word is preferred. As well, overall knowledge of the city in regards to attractions and restaurants will be considered an asset.
Candidate must be highly professional and well-groomed and must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Overnight Guest Services Agent
Will be involved in the operation of a variety of overnight guest contact positions consisting of Guest Services, Bell Services, Reservations and Room Service. Agent will report directly to the Night Manager.
Greets and registers guest in and out of the hotel
Actively promotes the sale of the hotel and maximizes all potential revenue generating situations.
Answers and assists with any guest questions looking for ideas or recommendations in regards to the city and its attractions.
Assist in the order taking and delivery process for room service orders.
Able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and overnight shifts.
Performs all cashier duties
