SERVER


Job Description:

Capo & The Spritz at OPUS Vancouver is looking for an Evening Server. Work alongside our talented team to provide unforgettable experiences all around!


Responsibilities:

  • Able to make all types of coffee beverages and work autonomously when needed.
  • Coordinate with OPUS' Front Desk for room service orders and deliveries.
  • Outgoing and confident, comfortable promoting items and services.
  • Offer consistent and individual authentic service to each guest to create elevated service.
  • Well groomed, emanating genuine warmth and care to all guests.
  • Friendly and polite, creates a great first impression.
  • Able to communicate well with wide variety of people, adapting tone and building rapport with guests.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and have a strong initiative.
  • Strong customer service skills – able to exceed guest expectations.
  • Daily tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Part-time, must be available for minimum 3 shifts per week including but not limited to weekdays, weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma, preferred.
  • Serving It Right required.
  • Previous Barista training is an asset.
  • Wine knowledge and experience with Italian wines is an asset.
  • Previous experience with Squirrel POS system is an asset.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Must possess legal work authorization for Canada.


HOST


Job Description:

Capo & The Spritz at OPUS Vancouver is looking for a positive and engaging Host. Work alongside our talented team to provide unforgettable experiences all around!


Responsibilities:

  • Greet all guests upon arrival, establishing initial, genuine and upbeat connection.
  • Demonstrate prompt and enthusiastic phone etiquette, promptly addressing any concerns and managing take-out orders.
  • Diligently overseeing and managing the nightly floor plan, efficiently seating guests in a timely manner while maximizing seating capacity and operational efficiency.
  • Enthusiastically promoting specials and enticing offerings to guests.
  • Assist with table bussing and providing support to servers when necessary.
  • Follows approved cash handling procedures.
  • Able to communicate well with wide variety of people, adapting tone and building rapport with guests.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and have a strong initiative.
  • Strong customer service skills – able to exceed guest expectations.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

Capo & The Spritz at OPUS Vancouver is looking for a Bartender. Are you creative, passionate, and interested in curating an unforgettable guest experience? Work alongside our talented bar team at Vancouver's only spritz bar!


Responsibilities:

  • Confident in food, wine & cocktail knowledge.
  • Offer consistent and individualized authentic service to each guest.
  • Understand and implement efficient and effective problem solving and conflict resolution.
  • Work as a team to clear and reset all tables to the Capo standard.
  • Has proficient cocktail knowledge, including basic classic recipes.
  • Well groomed, emanating genuine warmth and care to all guests.
  • Friendly and polite, creates a great first impression.
  • Able to communicate well with wide variety of people, adapting tone and building rapport with guests.
  • Strong customer service skills - able to exceed guest expectations.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience preferred.
