OPUS & Equality

  • OPUS Pride 75

At OPUS Vancouver, we not only believe every person should have equal rights, we embrace the opportunity to bring awareness and support to the LGBTTQ community.  Located on Davie street, just steps to the Davie Village, we are perfectly situated in the heart of the most vibrant and inclusive neighborhood in Vancouver.

OPUS is a long standing member of both TAG and IGLTA, as well as  a proud sponsor of the Vancouver Queer Film Festival. For 11 days each August, the VQFF brings the very best in queer independant cinema from around the world to Vancouver.

Helping Homeless LGBT Youth

  • Community Web

Advocates estimate that approximately 40% of homeless youth identify as gay or transgender. While there are many factors that contribute to LGBT youth homelessness, identity-based family rejection is the most commonly cited reason. We commit to donating 10% of every booking of our Bare Necessities Pride Package back to Covenant House Vancouver.
