What about the snacks?

Enjoy early dinner at OPUS BAR before you leave, or if you don’t feel like packing your own snacks there will be food trucks where you can get some sweet treats to enjoy the show. If you prefer dinner and a movie, you can take your pick between 7 different restaurants for a three course meal. Buy your tickets now to reserve your seat.

Okay you’ve waited long enough! Here is a list of the movies that will be playing in the park.

July 23rd - Sleepless in Seattle (1993)
July 30th - Moulin Rouge (2001)
August 6th - Finding Nemo (2003)
August 13th - Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
August 20th - Jurassic Park (1993)

Getting There

All movies listed above will take place at Second Beach giving you a variety of different transit options. Just minutes from downtown Vancouver, visitors can easily walk or ride their bikes to the park. By accessing the park from the Georgia Street entrance, you’ll be connected to the main transportation links like the Seabus and the Skytrain.

Translink’s #19 bus brings you right into Stanley Park making it very easy. If you plan to take the Seabus you can walk or transit to the #19. You could also bring your bike or rollerblade along coal harbour to arrive at second beach. This would make for a beautiful evening bike ride before you head to the movie!

There are a few entrances that allow you to access the park by car! The main entrance is at the west end of Georgia street. Depending on your plan for the afternoon, you can also access the park from English Bay. If you plan to spend some time at the park prior to the movie you may want to look into purchasing a parking pass for the day which gives you access to all of the parking lots. Hourly parking passes are available as well.
